Dr. John A. Wood, Chiropractor

Dr. John Wood was born in Littleton, Colorado, and lived there until the age of 15, when his family relocated to Washington State. He graduated from Auburn High School, where he was a three-year varsity athlete in track and cross country. Dr. Wood continued his education at Western Washington University in Bellingham, completing his undergraduate studies. During a summer visit home, his grandmother introduced him to her chiropractor—a visit that inspired his lifelong passion for chiropractic care.
Dr. Wood earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in 1990. He began practicing in Auburn shortly after graduation before moving his practice to Kent, where he continues to serve the community today.
With over three decades of experience, Dr. Wood has had the privilege of caring for patients from just a few days old to those in their late nineties. He believes every individual is unique and deserves personalized, attentive care. His approach focuses not only on relieving pain but also on educating patients about how to maintain their health and improve their overall quality of life.
Dr. Wood has been recognized with the Chiropractic Sentinel Award and has been featured on KCPQ-TV, KOMO-TV, and PAX-TV for his dedication to natural health and wellness.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Wood enjoys spending time with his wife of 31 years, Vicki, and cherishes the memory of one of their two sons who is in heaven. His compassion, experience, and genuine desire to help others are the foundation of Live Well Chiropractic.
